So I finally got around to editing some of the photos I took from the Scorsese show, including the three pieces that I did! The opening night was an absolute madhouse, chockfull of way more people I could’ve ever expected, but it was incredible. I wanted to go for a kind of American money look, with shades of the Euro (which is vastly superior when it comes to visual appeal, seriously). Given the chance I’d probably redo Leo’s face, but alas. If you’re interested in owning the originals, they’re for sale on Spoke Art’s site. Also check out the amazing selection of work available from the show, including my friend Melissa Ling’s pieces from Mean Streets and Rich Pellegrino’s De Niro portraits!
My next two books, Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet, have finally been published! Here’s a preview of them to go along with the new photos of Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth! This is less than a fourth of the total amount of illustrations in each book!

In preparation of my next two books, Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet, being published on November 6th, I wanted to scan in and better show off the amount of illustrations in each of the four books! This is less than a fourth of the total amount of illustrations in each book!

Oh, and last week I got the call to do a spot for The New York Times! It’s a fantastic look at Frederick Douglass’ accomplishments (and voter fraud) and a modest proposal on keeping the minority vote down. Check out the article HERE!
This is the original sketch I had done for the Occult Swap for Ten Paces and Draw. It spawned a new way of planning my work, so I actually finished it too!
Macbeth - I thought I’d upload a couple of the interior pieces that I liked from each of the books.
Romeo and Juliet - I thought I’d upload a couple of the interior pieces that I liked from each of the books.
Die Blumen -
A collage project I did about some of the beautiful German flowers that I saw on my trip collaged with the many pamphlets, bags, and maps that I gathered there.
In a very exciting twist, I’ve been interviewed for an article on the books in the paper that I’ve read since I was a kid, The Washington Post! There’s a chance that it may be printed in the paper itself too next week!
My first spot for The New York Times was published in the Book Review today!

I’ve done a lot of trees in my short career. Something I love!
